District Collector Devasena on the occasion explained K Ramulu the details of ex gratia that would be allotted for the victims of SC and ST atrocity cases that are registered in the district. Later, Ramulu held a review meeting with the district officials in the Millennium Hall in Ramagundam of Peddapalli district.

Speaking on the occasion, K Ramulu enquired the officials about the steps that were taken in providing facilities in SC colonies such as construction of community hall and study centre etc. He also enquired about the gurukul residential schools that are established by the government for the students of SC community and their functioning.

On enquiry of SC loans that are sanctioned, the officials informed that the grounding process was completed for the sanctioning of loans. K Ramulu said that about 159 atrocities were registered in the district which is very high when compared to other districts of the State. He ordered the officials of police department to solve them as early as possible along with taking necessary actions against the responsible persons.

Under Pradhan Manthri Awas Yojana, the central government is sanctioning Rs1,70,000 for the people belonging to the SC community whose house was damaged due to several reasons and also Rs 2,50,000 for those who want to construct new houses and owning a land in the towns and cities, he said.

District Joint Collector Vanaja Devi, Ramagundam Police Commissioner V Sathyanarayana, DCP Ravinder Reddy, District incharge revenue officer K Narasimha Murthy, RDO Upendar Reddy, Ramagundam Municipal Commissioner Srinivas, Thasildars and other district officials were present.
