With the elections to the primary agriculture cooperative societies (PACS) are around the corner, the ruling TRS leaders are seemingly in a huddle to chalk out an action plan to continue its winning streak after the recent municipal polls.
Palakurthi (Jangaon): With the elections to the primary agriculture cooperative societies (PACS) are around the corner, the ruling TRS leaders are seemingly in a huddle to chalk out an action plan to continue its winning streak after the recent municipal polls. Minister for Panchayat Raj Errabelli Dayakar Rao, who closeted with the important leaders in Palakurthi, Thorrur and Raiparthi mandals on Wednesday, discussed about the strategy to be adopted in the elections to PACS.
"The onus is on every leader to work for the win of all the candidates backed by the TRS," Errabelli said. He told them to work together to ensure another huge win for the TRS in the PACS polls. He said that the TRS government led by K Chandrashekar Rao had initiated several welfare schemes and programmes for the wellbeing of farmers. "Schemes such as Rythu Bandhu and Rythu Bima are unique that no other State in the country had implemented before. The government had also ensured 24-hour power supply for the farming sector besides providing irrigation facility, the Minister said.
The election will be held to as many as 99 societies in erstwhile Warangal district on February 15. Break up of societies: Warangal Urban 12; Warangal Rural 32; Jangaon 14; Mahabubabad 19; Mulugu 12; Jayashankar Bhupalpally 10. Poll Schedule: Nominations from February 6 to 8; Scrutiny on February 9; Withdrawals on February 10; Polling, Counting and Results on February 15.
