Addressing the meeting organised on the occasion, Minister Singereddy Niranjan Reddy said that agriculture is the only means which can keep the globe with full of greenery. To conserve the environment and nature and to protect them, it is possible only with agriculture.

Where as all other activities other than agriculture will pollute the environment. For the sustenance of mankind and to fulfill the needs of various eating habits, the people of all sections must adopt agriculture and must do farming, he suggested.

Once people used to conduct marriage of their daughters after asking about the land that is under cultivation with bridegroom's parents. Later, the situations became from bad to worse during the reign of other governments. But after formation of TRS government for the past five years the golden era has returned for the farming sector in the Telangana State, he said.

Minister Niranjan Reddy also said that it is the firm determination of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, the farmers are able to tell others proudly that they are doing farming. Bisides supplying uninterrupted power, KCR introduced Rythu Bandhu and Rythu Bhima schemes and Kisan Samman Yojana for the betterment of the farming sector in the State, he added.

There is a lot of difference between the students pursuing agriculture courses and those who are pursuing other courses.
