Officials told to speed up drinking water supply works in Nalgonda

Nalgonda: District Collector Gaurav Uppal on Monday inspected municipal works in Wards 6, 7, 9 and 24 of Nalgonda town and directed the officials concerned to speed up works with regard to drinking water supply AMRUT scheme, underground drainage works besides improving sanitation and street lighting. The Collector also asked the officials to start desilting works in view of upcoming rains.
The Collector later inspected a water tank coming up at Bodagutta, Mushampally road in Ward 24 in the town and held a meeting with municipal officials and reviewed the progress of ongoing municipal works in the town. Municipal Commissioner Dev Singh, Nalgonda Municipality's Executive Engineer Venkateshwarlu, Deputy Executive Engineer and others attended the meeting.
