Officials told to expedite toilet construction works in Kothagudem

Kothagudem: District Collector Rajat Kumar Saini directed the officials concerned to speed up construction works of individual toilets in their respective mandals.
Addressing a coordination meeting attended by officials of Panchayat Raj, Irrigation and Health departments at Kothagudem Club on Tuesday, the Collector directed the officials to submit progress reports pertaining to construction of individual toilets to DRDA office. He also asked the Panchayat officials to create awareness among people about seasonal diseases besides carrying out sanitation works every day in the villages.
He enquired about the status of toilet construction works from officials of Dummagudem, Gundala, Pinapaka, Aswaraopet, Yellandhu, Tekulapally, Charla, Kothagudem, Dhammapet, Manuguru and Palvoncha mandals.
While reviewing the Haritha Haram, the Collector told the officials to reach their targets by taking help from other departments.
District Rural Development Agency Project Director P Jagath Kumar Reddy, District Health and Medical Officer Bhasker Naik, District Panchayat Officer Asha Latha, Irrigation department Executive Engineer Sadasiva Kumar, Additional Health Officer in the district and others attended the programme.
