Nizamabad: District Child Protection Office Dr Sreeshilam on Saturday advised students to avoid the junk food & take more water. He also explained the precautions to be taken during the winter season.

He was addressing a programme on Adolescent Empowerment, conducted at SSR Discovery School Nizamabad, with the collaboration of Pediatrics Academy of Telangana and District Child Protection unit (ICPS). Dr Sreeshilam from Ganga Saraswathi Hospital advised the students to take the food which contains iron like black jaggery with groundnuts, dates & leafy vegetables.

He advised all the boys to respect girls & women like sisters & mothers & not to use smart phones & social media. Then Dr.Sreeshilam with his team conducted a special seminar for senior girls on menstruation and personal hygiene. Talking about the recent incident of Disha, he explained how to dial 1098 child help line & 100 in case of any problem
