New voter list prepared

District Collector Masrat Khanam Aisha said that they have prepared a new voters list with a total of 8,13,000 voters. Addressing a press meet at Collectorate, she said they would conduct second phase of training classes for Presiding Officers (POs) and APOs on election duties starting from March 31.

Addressing a press meet at Collectorate, she said they would conduct second phase of training classes for Presiding Officers (POs) and APOs on election duties starting from March 31.
The Collector called upon officials entrusted with election duties to submit 12, 12 A forms in respective Tahsildar office to exercise their franchise and added that help desks are being set up at Tahsildar offices. Booth Level Officers (BLOs) would distribute voter slips in as many as 1,126 polling centres in the district. She added that all facilities were being provided at the polling centres.
