Narayanpet gets Open Defecation Free tag
District Collector S Venkat Rao has declared Narayanpet district Open Defecation-Free (ODF) district on Wednesday.
Narayanpet: District Collector S Venkat Rao has declared Narayanpet district Open Defecation-Free (ODF) district on Wednesday. "We have successfully implemented the Swacch Bharat Mission in the district and today, we could proudly declare that the district has achieved 100 per cent construction of toilets in a short span and we got the ODF tag," informed the Collector.
As part of the achievement, the district authorities have organised a success meet and proudly declared that the district as ODF. The commendation meeting in the district was attended by local leaders MLA Rajender Reddy, Zilla Parishad chairman Vanajamma, Matkhal MLA Ram Mohan Reddy, District Rural Development Agency Project Director Raghuveera Reddy, Zilla Parishad Chief Executive Officer Kalindini, District Education Officer Ravinder, Zilla Parishad vice-chairman Surekha, Revenue Divisional Officer Srinivas and others.
