Wanaparthy: Agriculture Minister Singireddy Niranjan Reddy and Roads and Buildings Minister Vemula Prashant Reddy took part in the launching of various development works in Wanaparthy district on Sunday.
Initially the Agriculture Minister and the R&B Minister both laid foundation stone for the construction of 4 lane roads in the district headquarters and later they inaugurated the double bedroom houses which were constructed at Appaiahpally village under Wanaparthy mandal limits.
Speaking on the occasion, the Agriculture Minister said that the State government is giving equal priority to both development and welfare of the people in the State. Apart from continuing with its flagship programmes of developing the irrigation projects and improving the agriculture sector, the State government is also focusing on the welfare and development of infrastructure facilities such as roads, housing for the people and other basic amenities like drains, drinking water etc. "During the past 6 years our government has laid a strong foundation for taking up various infrastructure facilities such as roads, buildings, drains etc, not only this, the State government has also given equal priority for the welfare of the people and brought out various welfare schemes for all communities in the State and improved their living conditions," said the Minister.
