Minister visits Malaysia to study agri farms

Hyderabad: Agriculture Minister S Niranjan Reddy on Sunday visited Bukit Wang village of Jitra district in Kedah State of Malaysia.

According to a press release here on Sunday, the Minister is in Malaysia to visit agricultural farms in the country and take stock of agricultural practices adopted in cultivating different crops.

He visited the rubber plantations in Bukit Wang and inspected how farmers there are cultivating watermelon as an intercrop.

Similarly, the Minister also visited the food processing units there to study the methods and processes being implemented for processing different agricultural produce to make value addition.
