Karimnagar: BC Welfare Minister Gangula Kamalakar felicitated athlete Rapelli Srinivas who made it to the Guinness Book World Record recently in the city on Wednesday.
The Minister said that a good community structure is required to promote youth sports. Athlete Rapelli Srinivas created a world record by finishing the137.1-meter run on the foot fingers within a minute.
The Guinness Book organization, based in London, has sent him his certificate and to the Citation District Sports Authority. Appreciating Rapelli's achievement, Minister Kamalakar took him to his home and felicitated.
