District Collector M Rammohan Rao had instructed the officials to make the public aware of the importance of greenery and hygiene in all villages throughout the district.
Nizamabad: District Collector M Rammohan Rao had instructed the officials to make the public aware of the importance of greenery and hygiene in all villages throughout the district. Addressing the prajavani programme held at the Collectorate here on Monday, the Collector said that the target set by Haritha Haram for the respective departments should be fulfilled. Haritha Haram is a continuous process and not limited for just 30 days. Education department officials were ordered to distribute six plants to each student and each staff of government institutions and government offices respectively.
Ponds and tanks are full of water due to the recent heavy rains in the district. The officials of irrigation and revenue departments need to be vigilant as there is a danger of streams and ponds overflowing and told to take precautionary measures.
The officials of various departments were ordered to respond promptly to court cases, as some departments have not responded to such cases. Para-vice remarks should be issued without delay immediately after the court order, he added.
VROs and VRAs should work to increase the percentage of voter verification in urban areas and to complete the voter verification programme.
