The JC had instructed the officials to provide infrastructure and minimum support price to the farmers' produce and also on transportation. They were also directed to ensure that the farmers will not face any problem while selling their produce.

The JC further directed the officials to maintain 20 to 30 tarpaulins, weighing machines and paddy cleaning machines at every purchasing centre; to tighten security to avoid purchasing of produce from the farmers of neighbouring districts and States in the market.

The District Agriculture Officer was told to create awareness among the farmers along with agriculture extension officers. Supervisors, agriculture officers and agriculture extension officers should visit procurement centres every day without fail.

And all the district officers, who were appointed as mandal special officers, should inspect their respective mandal procurement centres. He also instructed the district marketing officer to supply enough tarpaulins to the procurement centres and moisture measuring machines, weighing machines to every procurement centre in the district.

JC Bhaskar Rao said that about 18 lakhs gunny bags are available in the district and proposals were sent for another 32 lakhs gunny bags, which will arrive soon.

He strictly warned purchasing centres' operators not to buy grains from mediators (traders) or else criminal cases will be registered against them. State intelligence wing committee also will supervise the purchasing centres and told the farmers to bring grains according to quality standards.

The JC released wall posters that explain how to get minimum support price to the paddy crop.

Koteshwar Rao, Sharath Babu, Ramesh Kumar, Kiran, Kishan, Srinivas Reddy, Suryachandar Rao, Devendar, Srinivas and Shashidhar Raju were appointed as paddy procurement centre mandal supervisory officers.

DSP Upender Reddy, LDM N Harikrishna, DCO Kiran Kumar, district agriculture officer Koteshwar Rao, district manager Srikala, DCMS manager Pramod Kumar, district labour officer Srivani, DCO Suryachandar Rao, ADM Srinivas, GCC manager Tarachand, additional DD Govind Rao, CCS inspector Ramesh Babu, DCRB inspector and others were present.
