Less than 40% polling in Hyderabad

Hyderabad : Only 39.49% of total voters in Hyderabad Parliamentary constituency have exercised their franchise in the Lok Sabha elections held on Thursday.

Of 19,57,772 electors, only 773,036 have exercised their franchise up to 5 pm on Thursday. Among seven Assembly segments under Hyderabad Parliamentary constituency, highest polling of 49.54% was recorded in Goshamahal constituency followed by Charminar (46%); Karwan (44%); Chandrayangutta (38.9%); Bahadurpura (37.8%); Malakpet (33.21%) and the lowest 31.1% was recorded in Yakutpura Assembly segment.
