Kothagudem: Officials make foolproof arrangements for conduct of Class 10 exams
- They set up 138 exam centres for 14,196 SSC students in Kothagudem district
- Officials have decided to check the temperature of every student, and if any student’s body temperature is found higher than normal he will not be allowed into the exam centre
Kothagudem: In the wake of corona pandemic and lockdown, the district administration is making foolproof arrangements for conducting class 10 exams schedule to start on Monday. Students are going to face some tests before writing the original test in view of corona crises.
For the time, the students are facing different experiences at exams centres as the administration has decided to check the temperature of every student before allowing them inside the exam centres and if any student's body temperature is found higher than normal he will not be allowed into the exam centre.
The officials have decided to sanitize the exam centres, benches, rooms, doors and windows with sodium hydrochloride. The officials have decided to provide one sanitizer bottle besides one mask and gloves to each student at the exam centre before they enter the exam centre.
The officials are going to set up 138 exams centres for 14,196 students. Officials planned to keep about 15,400 masks and 9400 pair of gloves ready for distribution. All equipment are already shifted to all centres. District Education Officer Sarojini is monitoring the arrangements. District Collector MV Reddy has convened a meeting with officials and instructed them to take all precautions for smooth conduct of exams. He also instructed the officials to maintain social distance and ensure even staff also should follow covid-19 norms. He also visited some centres and made some suggestions to officials.
Speaking to the media, he said in the wake of corona crisis, they are taking all precautions to prevent spreading of coronavirus.
