Khammam: MLA Sandra Venkata Veeraiah distributes kits to 6,000 NREGS workers
Sathupalli MLA Sandra Venkata Veeraiah along with Additional Collector Snehalatha Mogili on Monday distributed 6,000 packs including masks, buttermilk, oranges and ORS packets in Lingalapalli, Lachanna Gudem and Venkatapuram villages of Vemsoor mandal
Sathupalli (Khammam): Sathupalli MLA Sandra Venkata Veeraiah along with Additional Collector Snehalatha Mogili on Monday distributed 6,000 packs including masks, buttermilk, oranges and ORS packets in Lingalapalli, Lachanna Gudem and Venkatapuram villages of Vemsoor mandal.
MLA Veeraiah said the TRS government has been providing free PDS rice and cash to BPL families across the State during the lockdown.
He informed that he had distributed nearly groceries worth Rs one crore to caste-based workers in the constituency and appealed the people to maintain social distance and follow lockdown norms to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
Later, the MLA enquired the NREGS workers about their problems and inaugurated gram panchayat office in Venkatapuram village.
