Khammam: Library Week celebrations conclude

Government Whip and Pinapaka MLA Rega Kantha Rao asserted the importance of libraries in students’ lives, while taking part in the valedictory of Library Week celebrations in Kothagudem on Sunday.

Speaking on the occasion, Rega said students should practice the habit of reading as it will help enhance their knowledge about various topics and fields, and also added that the State government would provide more funds for the development of libraries in the coming up days.
Kothagudem MLA Vanama Venkateswara Rao and Yellandhu MLA Banoth Haripriya, addressing the gathering, appealed to the students to visit libraries regularly.
District Libraries chairman Dindigala Rajender, directors of the District Librarian Committee and others attended the programme.
