Yadadri-Bhongir: Telangana State Road Transport Corporation JAC co-convener Raji Reddy stated that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has to giveup his adamant attitude towards the striking RTC workers. Addressing the media at CPI district office in Bhongir on Tuesday, Raji Reddy said that the Chief Minister has no right to continue in his chair as he is intentionally neglecting the RTC workers issues and also not following the orders of the High Court.

"KCR tried his best to dilute the strike, but in vain," he added, alleging that the Chief Minister was trying to privatise the RTC by shutting it with baseless reasons.

Over 99 percent of RTC workers have been taking part in the strike for the last 39 days with confidence and courage, he stated, demanding that the government must invite RTC unions for talks to evolve at an amicable solution before the strike crosses the line of patience.

Meanwhile, the women RTC workers in Nalgonda expressing their protest, lighted lamps, on the occasion of Karthika Pournami celebrations, at the protesting venue, Ambedkar Bhavan, in Nalgonda.
