Warangal: A decade after the historical 'Million March', one of the milestones of the Telangana Movement, the time has come for the people to gird up their loins and end the tyrannic rule of KCR-led TRS government to fulfill their aspirations, Telangana Jana Samithi (TJS) founder Prof Kodandaram said.
The TJS led a huge bike rally here on Wednesday on the completion of 10 years since Million March to Hyderabad organised by the Telangana protagonists. He paid tributes to those, who laid down their lives for separate State, at Amarula Stupam near Adalath junction.
Speaking in Fort Warangal, Prof Kodandaram called upon youth and graduates to fight for the fulfillment of their aspirations especially jobs.
Fearing defeat in Warangal-Khammam-Nalgonda Graduates council seat, the TRS leadership has started playing gimmicks to lure the voters, he said, referring to the leaks given by the government on pay revision commission (PRC) that it would provide a handy fitment to the employees. This apart, the TRS was looking to attract the voters by cash bags.
"Don't believe in K Chandrashekar Rao, who has a long history of hoodwinking people by making false promises. The PRC fitment is one such bait to entice the employees to get their mandate in the Grads council elections," he said. Referring to TRS candidate for the Grads council seat Palla Rajeshwar Reddy, who is seeking reelection, Prof Kodandaram said that the former had done nothing for the students. "Palla is a businessman and it's hard to expect commitment from him," he said.
