They seized 71 vehicles, which do not have proper documents and tobacco products worth Rs 7,500 during the search operation.
Speaking on the occasion, the Police Commissioner suggested the house owners to be aware of their tenants. Whenever they give their house for rent, the house owners must collect the details and Aadhar card and must inform the details at the nearest police station through WhatsApp. The police in turn will give the owners the complete details of their tenants, he added.
Vehicle owners must register documents in their names. If there are no proper documents, the owners will face problems in future if their vehicle is stolen or in case of accidents, he added. If the vehicle owners consult nearby police station with their documents, which are not proper, the cops will send those documents to Road Transport officials.
They will prepare proper documents and will be handed over to the vehicle owners, he explained. The Police Commissioner said that consuming alcohol in open places and riding bike after consuming liquor is a crime and those, who will do this, will be imprisoned. Stating that many people died due to road accidents, the police are conducting drunk and drive tests to prevent such accidents, he said.
Reddy urged the people to download Hawk Eye App in their smart mobiles to utilise the police services. He gave a demonstration on how to download the Hawk Eye App to the people.
Additional DCP (L&O) S Srinivas, ACPs P Ashok, Madan Lal, corporator Ilendar Yadav, former corporator Satish, Inspectors Vijay Kumar, Deva Reddy, Vignan Rao, Damodar Reddy, Reserve Inspectors Mallesham, Johny Miya, Shekar, SIs Srinivas, Sridhar and Ramu were present along with 150 police personnel in the cordon and search operations.
