Karimnagar: BC, SC, ST women voters list will be completed by June 30
As per the orders of the State government, counting of 1.30 lakh women voters belonging to SC, ST and BC communities has been completed and the remaining will be completed by June 30, informed City Municipal Commissioner G Venugopal Reddy.
Karimnagar: As per the orders of the State government, counting of 1.30 lakh women voters belonging to SC, ST and BC communities has been completed and the remaining will be completed by June 30, informed City Municipal Commissioner G Venugopal Reddy.
The survey of counting of voters is going on under Karimnagar Municipal Corporation including villages that were merged recently into the Corporation.
As many as 73 staff members were deployed for the counting of voters along with 23 special officers to supervise the process.
Out of 2.50 lakh voters present under Karimnagar Municipal Corporation, the counting of about 1.30 lakh women voters is completed and the remaining will be continued until June 30.
After the counting is completed, the list will be examined thoroughly, he stated.
The final voters list will be published eight days after the completion of counting of voters.
The civic chief told the voters to approach revenue employees for corrections, if they found any mistakes in the list.
He appealed the people not to give wrong information to the municipal officials and staff, when they visit the voters' houses and ordered the officials to enrol; the names of the voters after examining all the details including the caste of the voters perfectly without giving any scope for irregularities.
