Jagtial: Student Federation of India (SFI) district secretary Mohammad Akram Malik alleged that the TRS government is negligent in solving the issues of government schools. SFI members staged a dharna in front of Government New High School at Theenkani Chowrastha here on Wednesday.

Speaking on the occasion, Md Akram Malik said Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao is boasting that he is leading the State towards achieving Bangaru Telangana. But how can the CM achieve Bangaru Telangana without strengthening the government education sector and without solving the various issues pertaining to the government schools and colleges, he questioned.

'Many government schools are running in rented buildings; there is a no permanent and sufficient staff in the schools; no basic facilities of drinking water, fans, toilets etc. Without solving all these problems, how the CM will achieve Bangaru Telangana?'. By distributing Bathukamma saris, can he achieve Banagaru Telangana? he questioned.

Jagtial district stood top in SSC results but the TRS government had failed in appointing permanent teachers for government school. Results are full but appointments are nil, he criticised.

About 130 girl students are studying in New Government School at Theenkani Chowrastha in Jagtial town but there are no basic facilities, Children are facing lot of hardships without toilets and drinking water, he added.

Akram Malik demanded that the government must solve all the problems of the New Government High School immediately. Otherwise they would intensify the agitation and will teach the government a fitting lesson, he warned.

SFI members Vinod, Imran, Razaq, Rahul, Mahendar, Vijay, Deepak, Aravind, Atheeq and Rajesh were present along with others.
