Energy Minister G Jagadish Reddy stated that it is time to work collectively to restore the lost glory of Telugu language.
Suryapet: Energy Minister G Jagadish Reddy stated that it is time to work collectively to restore the lost glory of Telugu language. The Minister participated as chief guest of centenary celebrations of Government High School located at Gottiparthi village of Tungaturthy Constituency on Sunday.
Addressing the gathering, he said Telugu is our mother tongue and called upon parents and teachers to guide the children regarding the importance of Telugu language and advised them to learn English to grab the employment opportunities globally.
He expressed his happiness over attending the centenary celebrations of the school and listed out the State government's measures to strengthen government schools and establishment of Gurukul schools to provide quality education to the poor students of the State.
He assured to take care of the development and needs of the school staff. He appreciated Tungaturhy MLA Gadari Kishore Kumar for his donation of Rs 50,000 on the occasion.
