Interstate burglars arrested, Rs 22 lakh booty recovered
Three interstate burglars were arrested and two kilograms of silver articles and 60 tolas of gold ornaments and a car, all worth Rs 22 lakh were recovered from them, the police said on Saturday.
Hyderabad: Three interstate burglars were arrested and two kilograms of silver articles and 60 tolas of gold ornaments and a car, all worth Rs 22 lakh were recovered from them, the police said on Saturday. The police said the burglars were nabbed at Bhopal in Madhya Pradesh.
The arrested are Manisha Disco (35), Ali Raza Khan (33) and Roopa Bai (45). Three more accused named Bheemlesh, Timtim, Moukham are still at large, the police said.
According to police, the miscreant broken into the house of P Satish Reddy under the limits of Osmani University police station and took away gold ornaments, diamond ring and cash, all worth Rs 1.40 lakh on July 26.
Investigation revealed that the accused had committed the burglary, the police said.
During the interrogation, the accused confessed that they had committed 12 burglaries.
