Popularly known as Volcano Man of India, Sai Teja Peddineni hailing from Hyderabad was seriously injured while climbing a volcano at Indonesia. He was shifted to a hospital for treatment.
Teja began exploring volcanoes in 2014. He took it away seriously when he was 23-year-old and thought of climbing an active, smoky and lava-spewing volcano. He said that he was surprised when he received a mail from his friend inviting him to join a special trek in December 2015.
Sai Teja climbed volcanoes 12 times in two years period. Agung volcano in Bali is one among the active volcanoes that Sai Teja climbed which claimed lives of 1500 people in 1963.
