Telangana Planning Board vice-chairman B Vinod Kumar says one should not doubt sincerity of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao in the matter of job recruitment
Hyderabad : Stating that TRS-led State government was a progressive government, Telangana Planning Board vice-chairman B Vinod Kumar on Wednesday said that no one should doubt the sincerity of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao in the matter of job recruitment.
Vinod Kumar said that it was sad that Kodandaram has myths about job recruitment. He said that this was a progressive government and was at the forefront of the country in implementation of development and welfare schemes. He added that the Chief Minister had worked with dedication and commitment in the matter of job recruitment and would continue to do so in the coming days with the same spirit.
Reacting to the comments of Prof Kodandaram on the subject of job recruitment, Vinod Kumar said it was sad for the Telangana Jana Samithi leader to have myths and added that even as a professor, he knew the process of job recruitment and it was not good for him to deliberately criticise the government.
Vinod Kumar recalled that Chief Minister had recently convened a high-level meeting to fill about 50,000 job vacancies in various departments of the State and directed the Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar to take immediate action accordingly. Subsequently, the CS also explained that a meeting was being held with the officers and plans were being prepared on the steps to be taken in line with the job vacancies.
He said Telangana has been focusing on power and irrigation issues since its inception and has overcome the problems in those two sectors. He said significant progress has been made in job recruitment and the state Public Service Commission has recruited thousands in the last six years.
He said the Public Service Commission had recruited thousands overcoming several court cases in the recruitment process.
Vinod Kumar reminded that the performance of TSPSC was ideal for the country and hence the representatives of Mauritius and other state service commissions came to the Telangana State Public Service Commission office to learnt about the recruitment process.
Vinod Kumar said the recruitment process would be fully transparent in the coming days and students and unemployed candidates should take the advantage of this opportunity.
