Hyderabad: Plea to speed up drainage works in Khairatabad

Khairatabad: Members of Arundathi Youth Welfare Association and other local societies met Khairatabad MLA Danam Nagender here on Sunday and submitted a memorandum urging to take measures to expedite the ongoing storm water drainage works at the ancient temple of Veeranjaneya Swamy. They also demanded that the temple be rebuilt and find a permanent solution to the storm water drainage issue. They said that Rs 2 crore were already sanctioned for the said project. Also, they requested the MLA to address various local issues. Responding to their request, the MLA promised to convene a meeting very soon to resolve the issues.

Among those who met the MLA include the association president, K Ravindranath, advisor Mallesh Yadav, TRS senior leader D Ramesh, K Raghunath, M Veeraswamy, D Rajesh, K Shiva Kommu, Chinna Vishwanath, D Nagesh, Chitti Suman, Mahesh and others.
