Musheerabad: The RTC Employee Union has decided to leave RTC JAC which was formed to stage united fight against the state government and RTC management during the strike period. This was announced by the union general secretary, K Raji Reddy, at a press meet organised here on Thursday.

Raji Reddy said that the union had decided to leave the RTC JAC as it had failed to respond to the issues of the employees. He said that union would fight against the management independently and this was informed to JAC convener through a letter on February 3. He said that the union would fight for addressing the issues of RTC employees as it was a legally registered union and has right to respond to the issues of RTC employees. He thanked JAC leaders and other labour unions which supported their cause during the strike. He urged union leaders to represent their issues to RTC management on behalf of the union through memorandums and representations.
