The bridge which is being constructed over Durgam Cheruvu from the main entrance of the Ambedkar Open University on Jubilee Hills Road No 45 to the junction near Inorbit Mall is nearing completion.

The project which is being built at Rs 187 crore provides relief from the traffic congestion between Jubilee Hills and Madhapur. The bridge is being constructed by L&T-HCIC employing precasting technology. Nearly 130 segments will be used for constructing the bridge.

The foundation stone for the bridge is laid by the Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister KT Rama Rao in April 2017.

Currently, all the foundations and substructure works have been completed and superstructure works were being executed at a full space.
