Telangana Home Minister Mahmood Ali tests positive for coronavirus after his gunmen infected with virus a few days ago

Telangana home minister Mahmood Ali tested positive for coronavirus here on Sunday and is undergoing treatment at Apollo hospital in Hyderabad.

The minister has undergone tests three days ago after his five gunmen tested positive. As the minister has been suffering from Asthma for the last few days, his family members shifted him to the hospital. The result came positive on Sunday. The minister's residence and the surroundings were disinfected. On learning the news, other ministers and public representatives are inquiring about the minister's health condition.

On June 25, five of his gunmen were found to be infected with coronavirus following which the minister was placed in quarantine. The gunmen are learned to have contracted the virus from a visitor.

Earlier, three MLAs from Jangaon, Nizamabad Urban and Nizamabad Rural were tested positive for coronavirus and they are undergoing treatment at a corporate hospital in Hyderabad. As the virus is spreading fast, political leaders, bureaucrats and their staff are falling prey to it.
