Hyderabad: The Institute of Medicine & Law (IML) launched MedLegal Helpline for all Indian doctors practicing allopathic medicine in the country which is available in two service formats. One is a 24 x 7 emergency helpline and the other is a knowledge helpline at the annual conference of Indian Society of Critical Care Medicine (ISCCM) titled CRITICARE 2020 in the city on Friday.

"We are delighted to launch MedLegal Helpline as part of our strategic initiative to provide legal advisory services to Indian doctors practicing allopathic medicine. The idea of launching it at Criticare 2020 is a perfect tribute to the intensivists for whom emergency is a day to day word. We are grateful to ISCCM for this privilege. MedLegal Helpline as a service is in line with our product portfolio strategy for India as a country before we expand our footprint to go international," says Sunder Rajan, Chief Executive Officer, IML.
