The NGO said that other states including Andhra Pradesh have promoted intermediate as well as degree students without conducting the exams. Balala Hakkula Sangam Achyut Rao said that this is not the time to conduct exams but save lives in the catastrophic situation.
Earlier, the government lecturers association made an appeal to the Telangana government to cancel inter supplementary exams. The association asked the government to add 10-15 condonation marks to the students who failed in the exams and pass them.
The scrapping of the supplementary and promoting the intermediate second-year students will help them to take other entrance exams including EAMCET.
The government announced the intermediate results last week and is yet to announce the exam schedule for first and second-year intermediate supplementary exams.
