Hyderabad: Former director of APSRTC Board and trade union leader M Nageswara Rao on Wednesday said that the Centre should allocate Rs 500 crore to the TSRTC.
In a press release issued here, M Nageswara Rao said that the Centre has 31 per cent share in TSRTC and the funds allocated by the Union government during the last 70 years had been Rs 50 crore. Keeping in view the economic condition of the Corporation, the Centre should allocate at least Rs 500 crore for purchasing new buses and for better public transport.
