Hyderabad: Case against conman, who posed as Vijay Devarakaonda's manager

Hyderabad: The CCS and Hyderabad police have registered a complaint against a conman, who created a fake profile of Tollywood actor Vijay Devarakonda and is masquerading as the manager of the actor.

The complaint was lodged with the CCS police by the real manager of Vijay, who mentioned that a person has created a fake profile of the actor and has mentioned in the profile that he is the manager of Vijay Devarakonda.

The real manager alleged that the impostor is trying to lure girls by creating such fake profiles and also gave his phone number in the profile. "When the real manager contacted on the phone number given, he received the shock of his lifetime as the impostor invited him to Warangal for an audition and promised him to get a breakthrough in the film industry."

Based on all the chat history, the real manager has lodged a complaint with the CCS police, said Prasad, the ACP of CCS.

The ACP further informed that they have registered a complaint against the unknown person and are working to crack the case. Special teams have also been formed to nab the accused and very soon we will arrest him, the ACP said.
