Harish Rao calls for saving environment

Siddipet: Everyone should plant trees for the benefit of next generations, said former Minister Harish Rao. On the occasion of World Environment Day, the former minister planted saplings and poured waters on them. He also asked the people to take oath to protect environment from pollution in villages and towns by growing greenery.

The plants and greenery will provide fresh air and check on pollution, he said. "We are supposed to transfer better environment to the future generations with greenery to check on pollution," he added.
