Government is committed to complete Dindi project: Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav
Talasani Srinivas Yadav, Minister for Animal husbandry, during his one-day visit to Achampet on Wednesday, assured that the State government was committed to complete the Dindi Lift Irrigation project in the next one year, and would provide irrigation water to the farmers of Achampet constituency.

After laying a foundation stone for the construction of Yadava Community hall in Achampet, the Minister hailed the various programmes and schemes launched by the State government under the leadership of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and stated that ever since the formation of Telangana, the entire development landscape of State has been changing fast.
"After the formation of Telangana, the people of the State have overcome all the misfortunes like draught, migration, lack of drinking and irrigation water and unemployment, which they witnessed before 2014. Today, the farmers, the women and youth are living happily. Telangana government had implemented never before schemes like Rythu Bandhu, Rythu Bima, Mission Bhagiratha, Mission Kakatiya and KCR Kits. Not just these, with the schemes like sheep distribution, cattle distribution and providing free fishlings to the fishermen and offering various agriculture implements to farmers, vehicles and financial assistance to the those seeking self employment etc, the government has touched each and every section of the society and moving towards transforming the State into a Golden Telangana," said the Animal Husbandry Minister, while enumerating various development programmes launched by the government in the past six years.
The Minister, later, took part in the ground-breaking ceremony for the construction of a new Library building in Achampet. The Minister stressed that the government was giving highest priority for the agriculture and allied sectors. He said particularly the farmers, who were not even used to get six hours of power earlier, were now getting 24 hours free power for agriculture. "Not just launching welfare schemes, the State government has stood as an example for other States in implementing these schemes in a transparent and corruption-free manner," said the Minister.
The Minister praised the efforts of Achampet MLA Guvvala Balaraju, and added that very soon the State government would complete the Dindi Lift Irrigation project and provide water to Achampet and surrounding regions.
