Farmer waiting for urea left in agony

Mahabubabad: A farmer was bitten by a snake at Gudur mandal headquarters in Mahabubabad district in the early hours of Thursday. Desperate to fetch urea, Agaboina Chinna Venkanna left for Gudur from his hamlet AR Thanda at around 4 am to stand in the queue. In his pursuit, he was bitten by a snake when he stood in the queue. The bystanders rushed him to the community health centre in Gudur. His condition is said to be stable, it's learnt.
