  • Revanth, KCR to brainstorm possibilities with respective party leaders
  • BJP expects to get double digit figure in Lok Sabha polls in state

Hyderabad: All the political parties in the state are in the grip of exit poll fever. The three main stake holders - ruling Congress and the Opposition BRS and BJP leaders are in the process of preparing a list of the agencies and their ratings and credibility so that they can react accordingly as the exit polls would be flashed on TV channels from 6.30 pm on Saturday.

A few survey agencies and media groups have given near-correct predictions during the previous Assembly elections. Their accuracy rate was around 80-85%. Hence the three major parties are trying to figure out the groups on whom they can rely for the predictions on Saturday. It is learnt that Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy had asked a few select leaders to come to his house on Saturday evening before the exit polls go on air.

BRS chief K Chandrashekhar Rao held a meeting of some important party leaders on Friday and analysed some survey reports he had received from different organizations. KCR would also sit with his team of leaders on Saturday to analyse the outcome of the exit polls. Though to keep the morale of the party rank and file, KCR has been claiming that people will give a big mandate to his party, preliminary survey reports hint that the party’s performance would be poor in the Lok Sabha elections.

BJP state president G Kishan Reddy, who is also the party candidate from the Secunderabad constituency, is learnt to have got some advance survey reports from some survey agencies as well as national party in Delhi which indicate that they would be getting double digit figure, sources claim. Aso the Congress leaders are equally confident of getting double digit figure though they express concern over reports that the BJP had emerged stronger in the Lok Sabha polls.
