Eight positive cases registered in khammam District
High alert has been sounded in the district in the wake of 8 new corona virus positive cases reported at Nelakondapalli mandal head quarter on Sunday
Khammam: High alert has been sounded in the district in the wake of 8 new corona virus positive cases reported at Nelakondapalli mandal head quarter on Sunday.
Three family members of one trader who tested positive on Friday got corona virus and five persons those who are working in trader shop got also corona positive.
District medical and health officials said all eight persons who got corona sent to Gandhi Hospital for treatment. With these eight total corona cases reached to 10 in Khammam district alone.
One covid-19 death also reported in Madhira two days ago. One 65 year old person of Madhira town died with covid -19 and his younger son also got corona in tests and he is undergoing treatment in Gandhi Hospital. On Sunday he was shifted to Gandhi hospital. Officiasls confirmed that the person moved with father as a reason he got corona positive. After knwoing even son got also corona positive the administration got alerted and taken many precautions at victims surroundings in Madhira town.
People living in the grip of fear with increasing corona positive cases in the district. Officials warned old age, children and pregnant women should not come out for some more days as situation is not well. However the district administration adviced the people not come out for simple reasons and should stay safe in houses and observe what officials say.
