The first phase web counselling for various engineering courses of TS EAMCET 2019 will start from June 24.
Hyderabad: The first phase web counselling for various engineering courses of TS EAMCET 2019 will start from June 24.
According to Telangana State Higher Education Council (TSCHE) sources, the EAMCET counselling schedule was decided at a meeting of the officials of TSCHE and JNTU-H here on Thursday. The JNTU-H had conducted the TS EAMCET-2019.
A senior TSCHE official said the verification process is to be completed between June 24 and July 1 for the engineering stream.
As per the schedule, the candidates qualified in the TS EAMCET-2019 will have to register online and book their slots for the verification of the certificates.
Further, the candidates will have to exercise their web options after the registration process from June 27 to July 4.
As per the schedule, the candidates will be given a provisional allotment of seats on July 6. Students who have got the provisional allotment of seats will have to pay the fee online besides giving confirmation of the college that they are going to join through self-reporting from July 6 to 12.
However, the TSCHE has reportedly asked the JNTU-H to keep in abeyance the date of web options which is scheduled to start from June 27. A final decision on exercising web options will be decided at a meeting scheduled to be held on June 26.
A decision to this effect has been taken following a High Court judgement with regard to tuition fee.
A couple of private colleges had approached the High Court asking for an increase in the tuition fee. In the absence of a fee regulation committee, the colleges have prayed the court to increase the fee as they have proposed for the academic year 2019-20. The prayer was granted, however with some riders.
It was against this backdrop that the State government is mulling to go for an urgent appeal in the court on the verdict of the single judge on the issue, officials said.
Meanwhile, TSEAMCET Convenor and JNTU-H Registrar N Yadaiah said candidates whose Intermediate (10+2) marks data was not available due to uploading of wrong hall ticket numbers/board of qualifying examination by the candidate at the time of registration were given an opportunity to submit the qualifying exam marks by uploading the scanned copy of marks memo and hall ticket (Intermediate) through the TSEAMCET website: www. eamcet.tsche.ac.in.
Adding, the candidates who have submitted the marks in TSEAMCET 2019 website with valid proof till 15-6-2019 (Saturday), 4.00 pm were considered for processing of results.
He asked all those candidates who could not submit the qualifying examination marks and details should submit the qualifying marks details as per the format given in the website by 5 pm on or before June 23.
