Dr. Priyanka Reddy could have called police instead of sister: Minister Mahmood Ali

State Home Minister Mahmood Ali blamed the victim Dr. Priyanka Reddy for calling her sister and not the police helpline number '100'.

Priyanka could have been saved if she called the police, said the minister terming her death is unfortunate. He further said that efforts will be made to create awareness about the police helpline number to the public for their safety.

Recalling a case in which justice was ensured two months after the crime in the rape of a minor girl, the minister hoped to provide justice to the victim's family soon.

The police have been formed into 10 teams and already arrested four people in connection with the crime, said the minister expecting that whole matter will be clear by evening.
