The Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) has released the schedule for admission into Undergraduate Courses (UG) through Degree Online Services Telangana (DOST), for the academic year 2019.

Hyderabad: The Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) has released the schedule for admission into Undergraduate Courses (UG) through Degree Online Services Telangana (DOST), for the academic year 2019.

Addressing media here on Wednesday, TSCHE Chairman Prof T Papi Reddy and Vice-Chairmans Prof Limbadri and Prof Venkata Ramana, and State Education Secretary Dr B Janardhan Reddy said that the registration process of DOST -2019 will commence from May 23 and will continue till June 3. Students can exercise their web options from May 25 to June 3. Besides, student can also register online by paying a late fee of Rs 400 till June 4.

The first phase of seat allotment will be held on June and the students will have to complete the process of online self-reporting between June 10 and 15, by paying the college and reservation fee whichever applicable to them to confirm their joining in the seat allocated to them.

The second phase of registration will be open from June 10 to 15 and students will have to give their web options during the same period. The second phase of seat allotment will be made on June 20 and the students will have to complete the process of online self-reporting between June 20 and 25.

The third and last phase of registration and web options will be from June 20 to 25 for which the seat allotment will be made on June 29. Students will have to complete the process of online self-reporting from July 1 to 4.

All the students who have completed the process of online self-reporting in the first, second and third phases will have to report to their respective college between July 1 to 4 and the classes will commence from July 1. The intra-college phase of changes will be taken up between July 5 and 7 and seat allotment will be completed by July 10, they said.

Responding to a question they said that permissions are not given for the opening of any new degree colleges in the State. Further, steps will be taken to make changes if needed in view of the delay in the intermediate results. Otherwise, a separate DOST-2019 counselling process will be organised for the same, they said.

Adding, this time the DOST-2019 has added a new feature where the students can register with Biometric authentication in 92 helpline centres established, including at 82 government degree colleges and 7 university helpline centres.

That apart, students can also make the college fee payment through multiple payment gateways including T-Wallet as one of the payment methods. Steps have also been taken for improved web options screens including the CBSE courses for applicants to select the courses as per their preference.
