District police get pat for security measures during elections in Nalgonda

Nalgonda: Nalgonda district election security observer, Nagaland IG Leremo Joshi has appreciated the security measures taken by the district Police department during the election for Nalgonda Lok Sabha seat.

On Friday, giving send off to the election security observer Joshi, along with other police officials, district SP AV Ranganath felicitated the former in his chamber.

Speaking on the occasion, Leremo Joshi felt that the police took necessary security measures to conduct free and fair election in the district. He said that the police had controlled flow of money and liquor in the district by establishing interstate and inter-district check posts. Also, it controlled liquor flow in the villages by paying special attention on the belt shops.

District police department not only utilized the central security forces properly during the election time but alos provided good food and facilities to all the election staff and security forces.

SP Rangnath said Leremo Joshi's time to time advice helped the district police to take necessary steps to avoid any untoward incidents during the pre poll, poll day and post poll.
