Nagarkurnool: Accelerating the digitisation of land records, the Nagarkurnool district administration has so far completed over 75 per cent of land record digitisation works and uploaded on the 'Dharani' website.
While taking part in a video conference with Revenue officials, Tahsildars and other concerned staff in Nagarkurnool district, District Revenue Officer (DRO) Madhusudhan Nayak said that as against 3,01,936 land record digital signatures to be uploaded, the district has completed the digitisation of 2,44,019 land records in the last few months and there are about 57,917 land records still left pending to be digitised.
"We have given targets to the mandal level officials to complete the digitisation works of pending land records in the next few days. There have been a few technical problems with regard to digitisation process. However, we have overcome them and if there is still anything more we have asked the officials concerned to approach the district headquarters at the earliest and resolve the issues," said the DRO.
The DRO said that in all the mandals, as many as 1,600 government land records are also being updated on the Dharani website under Nagarkurnool region. However, the details of lands under dispute and of those having cases in the courts would not be updated on the website until a final decision is made on the same.
The DRO directed the officials concerned to speed up the pending works and take up the digitisation of the land records in a transparent manner.
