As part of the State government’s initiative, the veterinary officials along with peoples’ representatives took part in the deworming programme of sheep and goats at Mandal Parishad President (MPP) office in Dharur mandal of Gadwal district on Tuesday.
Gadwal: As part of the State government's initiative, the veterinary officials along with peoples' representatives took part in the deworming programme of sheep and goats at Mandal Parishad President (MPP) office in Dharur mandal of Gadwal district on Tuesday.
Taking part in the awareness programme on deworming, Gadwal MLA Bandla Krishna Mohan Reddy said that the State government has distributed sheep, goats and cattle to the people for self-sustaining. In view of the above, the government is also taking the responsibility of providing healthcare and treatment facilities free of cost to the livestock through veterinary department. "All the shepherds and cattle rearers are urged to utilise this opportunity and get their cattle, sheep and goats administered with free medicine provided at the veterinary department," said the MLA.
Bhandari Bhaskar, former ZP Chairman (Mahbubngar), along with veterinary doctors and a large number of cattle rearers were present on the occasion.
