Construct soak pits in all tribal schools: ITDA PO to engineers

Bhadrachalam: Integrated Tribal Development Agency (ITDA) Project Officer VP Goutham directed the engineering staff to construct soak pits in all ashram and tribal schools under ITDA.
On Tuesday, the official inaugurated the soak pits constructed on the premises of ITDA office. Speaking on the occasion, he directed the officials concerned to create awareness about the construction of soak pits in tribal villages, and also to the students.
He explained how soak pits help in replenishing underground water. Executive Engineer Koti Reddy, Assistant Project Officer Nago Rao, District Sports Officer (Tribal Welfare) Shankaraiah and engineering staff attended the programme.
