The State chief secretary of Centre of Indian Trade Unions (CITU), M Sai Babu, informed that the golden jubilee celebrations of CITU would be held in the State from May 30 onwards.
Kothagudem: The State chief secretary of Centre of Indian Trade Unions (CITU), M Sai Babu, informed that the golden jubilee celebrations of CITU would be held in the State from May 30 onwards. On Wednesday, a meeting was conducted with the leaders and supporters of the Unions for the arrangements of formation day celebrations at the CPM party office at Kothagudem.
Speaking at the meeting, Sai Babu said the formation day of CITU, which would be completing 50 years, would be celebrated from May 30 onwards and several meetings would be conducted in all districts and mandals in this regard.
He recalled that the CITU had conducted many protests for the workers in the last 50 years and added that the Union always fought for the implementation of laws and rights of workers in around the country and the State. He asked the leaders to make necessary arrangements for the celebrations.
CITU district vice-president MV Appa Rao, State secretary M Narasimha Rao, district president AJ Ramesh, leaders MN Reddy, K Brahma Chary, G Padma, Sridhar, G Srinu, Venkatamma, K Ramesh, P Arjun, Y Chaitanya, Chilakamma, G Raju, Anil, Radha Kumari, YV Rama Rao, T Krishna,CH Ramana, Narasimha Rao, Nageswara Rao, Venkat Raju and others attended the meeting.
