Choutuppal (Yadadri-Bhongir): Communist Party of India (Marxist) State leader and Miryalaguda former MLA Julakanti Ranga Reddy stated that Congress had not cooperated with the CPM in municipal elections. He added that violating alliance accord, the Congress extended its support to communal BJP in the elections.

On Tuesday, along with former MLC Cherupally Seetharamulu, he spoke to the media in Choutuppal. Ranga Reddy demanded the police to file cases against those who attacked the CPM councillors and defended party's stand over supporting TRS in election of chairperson and vice –chairperson election of Choutuppal municipality. In this press meet, party leaders Mudireddy Sudhakar Reddy, Mallau Nagarjun Reddy and others participated.
