Children of Hyd police society feted, scholarship sanctioned
The City Police Cooperative Credit Society has conducted felicitation for meritorious children of its members at office of the Commissioner of Police here on Saturday.
Hyderabad: The City Police Cooperative Credit Society has conducted felicitation for meritorious children of its members at office of the Commissioner of Police here on Saturday.
The society felicitated 211 meritorious students by issuing a pay order of Rs 6,000 to 7,000 each along with an excellence award certificate.
The programme was held under the chairmanship of Shikha Goel, Additional Commissioner of Police, Crimes & SIT, and ex-officio president of the society. Anjani Kumar, City Police Commissioner, has attended the programme as chief guest.
The Society sanctioned scholarships for 466 applicants, who secured 75 per cent and above marks in SSC and Intermediate and 60 per cent and above in degree.
211 applicants got 90 per cent and above marks in SSC, intermediate and degree.
The Society sanctioned scholarship for 2 applicants of MBBS, 2 NIT and 4 BDS by issuing a pay order of Rs 10,000 each along with an excellence award certificate.
