The gang sneaked into the house of a businessman Timmaiah and threatened him at knifepoint and made away with 16 tolas of gold and Rs 50,000 cash. Later, the gang locked up the businessman's family in a room and fled away. Meanwhile, locals came to the rescue of the family hearing their screams.
The Nizamabad CP Karthikeya, ACP Srinivas Kumar reached the spot and inspected the area. The police registered a case and are investigating.
On June 2, 2019, a three-member Chaddi gang threatened a family to open the door and then damaged windows when the family refused.
